Gitte Andersen is Global Head of Workplace Management & Design at SIGNAL Group, Head of SIGNAL UK, and the creator of the mindset that SIGNAL’s work is founded on – to work with space as a strategic tool for reaching new goals in corporations and organizations. This mindset is also what inspired her, along with lector at the Copenhagen Business School Peter Holdt Christensen, to write the book “Space at Work” – published at Akademisk Forlag in Copenhagen, 2015 & the book ‘SMART M2‘ along with Christine Antorini, former Minister for Children and Education – published in Danish at PRAXIS in 2017 and in an English edition by SIGNAL in 2018.

Gitte has strong skills in the fields of strategy and innovation, change management and strategic process-management, in relation to space as a strategic tool in transformation processes. Due to Gittes architectural background, these skills are also expressed in relation to implementation and design of a number of spaces for working and learning, in both existing and new facilities. Combined with Gittes background as a construction economist, where she has worked with life cycle economy, resource management and supervision of complex projects, Gitte often advise in the preliminary face, with a number of feasibility studies and establishing the business case, for an actual project. Gitte holds great innovation skills, which makes her capable of creating development and innovation, where the prolonging of the past is challenged and there is actually thought in development, with a focus on making a visible, positive difference, where she is engaged in concrete projects.
